We also help people in the poorest countries in the world where these gemstones originate. We encourage jewelers to buy as close to the source as possible. Currently, finished stones actually cut in the country of origin can be quite well made and provide much needed income for the local population. This also benefits the jeweler with better margins and the valuable public relations of “people to people” commerce.
We are uniquely qualified to provide this service because of my wide-ranging experiences in the jewelry industry. I grew up in my parent’s jewelry store and acquired a natural background in retail sales. I managed and then owned the family store for the last 25 years, spending many of those years at the bench. During the last 18 years of those years, I traveled the world to bring gemstones back to our little store in Sturgis, Michigan and developed a legendary business helping people. I sold this successful store in January 2005. Now, I can help others put more profit and passion in their business and their life.
